IMPORTANT NOTICE: ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION SUMMER 2026
Active construction is underway on the property during the current season. Work is scheduled during daytime hours and every effort is made to minimize disruption to guests. By completing your reservation, you acknowledge awareness of this condition. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of construction activity that has been disclosed at the time of booking.
RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT
Avaloch Inn accepts Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover. We do not accept cash or check payments. A valid credit card is required at the time of booking, along with a valid email address and mobile phone number. A $1.00 authorization hold will be placed on the card provided at booking to verify the card. This is a verification hold only and is not a charge. The full balance of the reservation is due prior to arrival. An incidental hold of $150.00 will be placed on the credit card presented at check-in. The final charges for your stay will be posted at checkout, and any remaining held funds will be released at that time. Please allow up to 72 business hours for released funds to be reflected in your account.
CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS
A cancellation policy will be specified at the time of booking and may vary by rate plan or season. The policy confirmed at booking governs your reservation. Should you need to modify your departure date, please contact Guest Services. Extensions are subject to room availability and your rate may change. Avaloch Inn cannot guarantee availability for extended stays.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and are subject to availability. A late checkout until 1:00 p.m. is available for $40.00. A valid government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for the reservation are required at check-in.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Guests must be 21 years of age or older to make a reservation and to check in. Valid photo identification will be required at check-in to confirm age.
ROOM ASSIGNMENTS & PREFERENCES
Avaloch Inn will make every effort to honor room type and bed type preferences based on availability at the time of arrival. All room and bed type preferences are requests only and cannot be guaranteed.
OCCUPANCY
Only registered guests are permitted to occupy guest rooms. Any unregistered guest found in a guest room after 11:00 p.m. will be charged $150.00 per person to the credit card on file. Parties and gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Guests found to have hosted a party or gathering will be responsible for all additional cleaning charges. Guests who cause disturbances affecting other guests or neighbors may be subject to fines and may be asked to vacate the property without refund.
SMOKE-FREE PROPERTY
Avaloch Inn is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms, on balconies, and in all interior common areas. A minimum cleaning fee of $250.00 will be charged for violations.
PET POLICY
Pets are not permitted in guest rooms. Evidence of a pet in a guest room will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250.00 charged to the credit card on file.
DAMAGES, MISSING ITEMS & ROOM CONDITION
Guests are responsible for all charges posted to their room and for any damages (including missing items) caused by themselves or their guests during the stay. All damages or breakages must be reported to the front desk as soon as reasonably possible. The credit card on file will be charged for any room damages or missing items identified after departure. No furniture is to be moved under any circumstances. Damage or staining to linens will be charged as follows: pillowcases $15.00 each, towels $15.00 each, sheets $25.00 each, duvets $50.00 each. Avaloch Inn provides 2 towels per guest room. Unreturned or damaged towels will be charged at $20.00 per towel. Unreturned beach chairs will be charged at $50.00 each. All in-room kitchenware must be accounted for at checkout. Missing items will be charged at $10.00 per unit.
LOST & STOLEN ITEMS
Avaloch Inn is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Guests are encouraged to report any concerns to the front desk promptly.
QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Out of respect for fellow guests, please keep noise to a minimum during these hours. Guests who repeatedly disturb others may be asked to vacate the property.
PRIVACY & DATA SECURITY
Avaloch Inn does not sell or share guest personal information. All credit card transactions are processed in compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards. GENERAL
Avaloch Inn reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Room rates and availability are subject to change. Avaloch Inn is not liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to weather events, utility disruptions, or other force majeure conditions. By completing a reservation, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
